Terms of Service
Rules governing access to and use of OUTPOST servers and related services.
Effective Date: October 1, 2025  |  Last Updated: October 1, 2025
Important Notice
By accessing, joining, purchasing from, or otherwise using any OUTPOST service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service, all applicable server and community rules, and official OUTPOST instructions and announcements.
1. Acceptance and Scope

These Terms apply to the OUTPOST Rust server network, webstore, websites, Discord community, bots, support systems, administrative systems, and any related service, feature, event, or community space operated under the OUTPOST name.

Additional rules, notices, package descriptions, in-game instructions, Discord announcements, and staff directions may apply. Those materials form part of the rules governing your use of OUTPOST. Where materials differ, OUTPOST may determine which rule or instruction applies to the relevant situation.

2. Eligibility and Account Responsibility

You must satisfy the eligibility and account requirements of the platforms and services you use in connection with OUTPOST, including any requirements imposed by Rust, Steam, Discord, Tebex, or other applicable services.

You are responsible for securing your Steam, Discord, and related accounts and for activity performed through them. OUTPOST is not required to compensate, refund, restore, transfer, or replace access, progress, items, balances, benefits, or other content lost because an account was shared, compromised, stolen, misused, or left unsecured.

3. Rules and Administrative Authority

OUTPOST administrators have final authority to interpret and enforce the applicable rules, determine whether a violation occurred, and select the appropriate enforcement action.

Staff may act to protect server integrity, player safety, service availability, fairness, security, and the community. Staff decisions may take account of context, patterns of behavior, linked activity, available records, operational needs, and information that may not be disclosed publicly.

4. Prohibited Conduct

Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation:

  • Cheating, hacking, unauthorized software, scripts, macros, automation, or other tools that create an unfair advantage or interfere with normal operation.
  • Exploiting bugs, duplicating items, bypassing restrictions, abusing unintended mechanics, or continuing to use a known vulnerability instead of reporting it.
  • Evading bans, restrictions, mutes, account limits, payment controls, or other enforcement measures.
  • Fraud, stolen payment methods, impersonation, false claims, deceptive support requests, or abusive payment disputes.
  • Harassment, threats, hate speech, doxxing, targeted abuse, malicious disruption, or conduct that creates an unsafe or hostile environment.
  • Abusive, insulting, hostile, demeaning, or disrespectful conduct toward OUTPOST staff, including personal attacks, repeated provocation, harassment, threats, or deliberate interference with staff duties. Disagreement with a decision does not excuse misconduct.
  • Impersonating OUTPOST staff, falsely claiming authority, or misrepresenting an official OUTPOST statement or decision.
  • Attacking, disrupting, probing, overloading, or attempting unauthorized access to servers, websites, bots, accounts, networks, or infrastructure.
  • Selling, sharing, trading, or transferring accounts, access, permissions, benefits, or other OUTPOST content except where OUTPOST expressly permits gifting at the time of purchase.
  • Conduct that violates applicable law, third-party platform rules, or any current OUTPOST rule or staff instruction.
5. Investigations and Linked Accounts

OUTPOST may investigate suspected violations and may use server records, account information, behavior patterns, technical indicators, reports, payment information, staff observations, and other relevant material.

OUTPOST may take action against accounts reasonably believed to be linked, controlled by the same person, used to evade enforcement, or involved in related violations. OUTPOST is not required to disclose internal evidence, detection methods, investigation materials, or information that could compromise security or enforcement systems.

6. Enforcement

OUTPOST may apply any measure considered appropriate for the circumstances, including warnings, mutes, kicks, feature restrictions, removal of content or gains, rollbacks, temporary bans, permanent bans, removal from Discord or related services, and suspension or revocation of digital access or benefits.

Enforcement may be applied immediately and may be expanded, reduced, modified, or reversed at OUTPOST's discretion. A restriction, suspension, or ban does not create a right to a refund, credit, replacement, compensation, or extension.

7. Purchases, Delivery, and Account Assignment

Digital access and benefits are assigned to the account identified, selected, or authenticated during checkout. After delivery, they may not be sold, shared, traded, or transferred unless OUTPOST expressly approves an exception.

Where gifting is available, the purchaser is responsible for selecting the correct recipient. Mistaken account details, recipient errors, and account-selection errors may be reviewed by OUTPOST, but correction, transfer, replacement, or re-delivery is not guaranteed.

Delivery is normally instant. Payment review, network conditions, platform outages, server availability, incorrect account information, or technical issues may cause delay. If delivery has not completed after 30 minutes, contact OUTPOST through the official Discord and provide the information reasonably requested to investigate the order.

8. Final Sales and Refunds

All sales are final and non-refundable, except where a refund is authorized, required, or processed by Tebex as the Merchant of Record. OUTPOST does not offer discretionary refunds for mistaken purchases, account errors, changes of mind, dissatisfaction, bans, discontinued play, wipes, service changes, maintenance, or temporary outages.

9. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

When a chargeback, payment dispute, reversal, refund, cancellation, fraud review, or similar payment issue is opened, OUTPOST may temporarily suspend the associated account, delivery, access, benefits, or Token balance while the matter is reviewed.

If a payment is reversed, refunded, cancelled, or otherwise withdrawn, OUTPOST may remove or recover any associated access, content, benefits, permissions, or Tokens. Fraudulent chargebacks, knowingly false disputes, repeated abuse, or attempts to retain content after payment reversal may result in permanent enforcement against the relevant and linked accounts.

10. Digital Benefits, Lifetime Access, and Tokens

Unless a purchase page expressly states otherwise, availability and compatibility of digital benefits may vary by server, mode, feature, technical environment, or operational requirement.

“Lifetime” means the operational lifetime of the applicable OUTPOST service, server network, package, or feature. It does not mean the purchaser's natural lifetime, does not guarantee that OUTPOST will operate indefinitely, and does not guarantee that every benefit, mechanic, value, or implementation will remain unchanged.

Tokens are generally intended for use across supported OUTPOST services and are generally not expected to expire or be removed by routine wipes; however, OUTPOST does not guarantee permanent cross-server availability, non-expiration, wipe immunity, continued compatibility, or unchanged treatment. Tokens may not be transferred after delivery, exchanged for cash, or redeemed for monetary value. OUTPOST does not provide discretionary refunds for Tokens, whether used or unused.

11. Wipes, Changes, Data, and Availability

OUTPOST may perform planned or unplanned wipes and may reset, alter, remove, or replace maps, inventories, progress, structures, entities, economies, statistics, balances, permissions, configurations, or other service data. Any wipe does not create a right to a refund, compensation, restoration, extension, or replacement.

OUTPOST may modify, rebalance, restrict, replace, suspend, or remove servers, plugins, systems, mechanics, values, features, or digital benefits at any time for technical, security, balance, legal, administrative, or operational reasons. OUTPOST is not required to provide an identical or equivalent replacement.

Where data loss, rollback, plugin error, exploit, outage, or other technical issue occurs, OUTPOST may attempt a restoration or adjustment at its discretion, but recovery is not guaranteed.

OUTPOST does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, any particular player population, specific latency or performance, permanent operation, compatibility with every device or network, or freedom from bugs, downtime, rollback, loss, or interruption.

12. Third-Party Services and Discontinuation

OUTPOST is not responsible for interruptions, restrictions, account actions, outages, or failures caused by Steam, Rust, Discord, Tebex, internet service providers, hosting providers, or other third-party services.

OUTPOST may suspend, restructure, migrate, replace, limit, or discontinue some or all services at any time. Lifetime access ends when the applicable service, server network, package, or feature permanently ceases operation.

13. General Provisions

OUTPOST's failure or delay in enforcing any provision does not waive the right to enforce it later. If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the fullest extent permitted.

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without prior OUTPOST approval. OUTPOST may transfer, delegate, reorganize, or assign its rights, systems, services, or operations as part of an operational, ownership, technical, or business change.

14. Updates and Contact

OUTPOST may update these Terms at any time. Unless OUTPOST states otherwise, an updated version becomes effective when posted. OUTPOST is not required to provide individual notice. Continued use of OUTPOST after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Questions, delivery issues, and support requests should be submitted through the official OUTPOST Discord. You may be required to provide an order reference, Steam ID, Discord account, screenshots, logs, or other information reasonably necessary to review the request. Do not post payment credentials or other sensitive information publicly.
